The Pale Locksmith

This is the story of two men and a girl.

The first man was transformed years ago into a creature of myth, and finds himself increasingly desperate as his mind and body slowly break down. His actions eventually come to the attention of the second, an equally desperate man who will seize on anything that will prove himself worthy to other people, most of all his mysterious wife. And finally there is his daughter, keeping their family shop going regardless of any threat that is sent her way.

Suddenly a mistake - a dreadful loss of self control - entangles their lives and their futures. Soon, the two men become increasingly aware that they are set on an inevitable collision course...
