Barry Allen is one of many nerds at Central City High. The only difference is that he doesn't blend in with his fellow scholars. And that's because of his athletic ability and good looks. This doesn't make Barry any less nervous when it comes to girls at school. When the school's playoffs come around, Barry asks Ronnie Raymond, the star of the baseball team, to help him get just as good.
That's Barry's story.
Caitlin Snow is Ronnie's cousin from New Jersey. Her family instructs her to stay with her cousin and his family for his playoffs. It's her first year doing this, so understandably she is unhappy about this. When Barry Allen is at her surrogate home a little bit more than she expected, she finds that she isn't in a rush to get back home.
