Narina Brians was the girl who had it all and lost it all. She was the perfect example of a twenty-first-century version of damsel in distress. She had a mother who baked cookies on the weekend while the father taught her how to ride a bicycle. Her middle-class parents gave their only child the utmost freedom, invariably labelling her as a kid while she wasted her time in meaningless fantasies. Drooling over her crushes while scrolling through her social media newsfeed occupied most of her precious time, thanks to Zuckerberg for that. By the time she realised mainstream educational opportunities were not her thing, a few things changed with her life. Her mother died of cancer resulting in her father to become a drunkard gambler who never seemed to have the right hands in the sacred game. She finished college with a namesake degree and better-unmentioned marks, concluding the fact that she's never gonna get a decent job. And worst of all, her biological clock hit twenty-two years only for her to realise that her parents were gone beyond the spectrum of returning to rebuild her disintegrating life. The only silver lining of this entire thing was that she was never unnecessarily rude to people, thanks to her parents for inputting some manners when they had the time. The rest you could imagine on your own. Yes. A shitty rat hole of an apartment to accommodate herself while doing part-time jobs and cutting off all ties with her unreliable dad. And then arrived a certain billionaire Ryan Adams in her deserted life like a drop of water to turn her definitions of 'normal' upside down. Now, this is where I need you to stop your imaginations because I know where you're going with this. Why? Well, why don't you find out for yourself? Check out the 'Prologue' to satisfy your curiosity! Highest Ranking: 13 in #relationshipgoals

Love is strange. It exists in many forms and is one of the key components that makes humans happy, but there isn't a lot of understanding surrounding it. At least not the kind of understanding with which the average person identifies. Agnes is one of the few people that can accept all kinds of love. Despite her dated name, she is a woman in her late 20's dealing with the death of most of her family. She's now stuck in the middle of figuring out how to raise children that she never saw in her future and deciding what love means for her, when it has to exist within layer upon layer of complication. She let go of her boyfriend after almost a decade because their love wasn't meant to exist under the strain of children, only to find herself confronted with the overpowering connection of her old high school sweetheart. The same man she ran away from because their values hardly aligned when it came to how love should be expressed long term. Within the midst of learning how to raise children and balance her ever-building career, Agnes tries to recover from her mother's death, seek comfort without complicating her circumstance, and figure out why her mother would name her Agnes. Finding real comfort starts to feel impossible, as her most available options are her ex-boyfriend and her assistant. Completed! Rejected 6 times** "This one just isn't for us." By far the most plain rejection I have ever received and I can respect it. 1/22/2022 - 1K 9/28/2022 - 10K
