Julius Rhodes only wanted to dance.
His mother was a well know ballet dancer and she danced for hours, but the drunk driver didn't care about ruining that. That night of the accident, she left her little boy and a wrecked husband.
Julius took up the passion of dancing to continue his mom's legacy, but his now alcoholic dad couldn't accept it. His dad didn't want to see his son dance, he wanted to see him play football. He didn't want to see the image of his wife any longer, dancing took her away from him.
