Two months ago, after losing his partner to the drug Everfire, Detective David Walker was put on mandatory leave. But now the Fey Queen's daughter is missing, with Everfire and the gang who controls it as the prime suspect. Reluctantly, David is partnered with a succubus he's had issues with in the past, when they were on opposite sides of the law. With only a week to recover the Queen's daughter before she brings all the power of the Fey down on their ears, David's belief in right and wrong is stretched to the breaking point. If he doesn't bend, he risks the lives of everyone in the city. If he does, he risks losing himself.
