In a world where Faeries rule, and humans serve, the half-human, half-fae Ellyseen has no choice but to pretend to be an obedient human servant in a house of Fae near the town of Deaayn.

But Ellyseen is a protector at heart, and from the shadows, she uses her powers to safeguard the humans of Deaayn from the tyrannical palace guards. The people worship her like a goddess until a single mistake leaves Ellyseen unable to save the town from destruction.

With wrath burning in her heart, she decides to join a handsome human named Garrik and his group of rebels. Together, they will rise against the dangerous fae Kind to protect humanity, but the king is powerful and the road to victory is perilous.
