Me and Joe are just your normal 12 year old twins. We are best friends we do nearly everything together, never separated. Are life is hard our mum has a rare disease of cancer and our dad looks after her and U.S. At the same time. We have an older brother called Finlay we hardly see him. He works full time for the money. He puts some away for mum and dad and the rest for himself. Our family isn't stinking rich we do have money but mum needs more and more medicines which aren't cheap.

Me and Joe like to escape every now and then. We go to Million hill which is a ten minute walk dow the road. We go on clear nights when we can see the moon and the stars.

My Grandparents love having me and Joe for the weekends, we brighten up their day. All they normally do is read the paper and watch TV but when we are round we go swimming or to the park. Granny bakes mums favourite biscuits when we go round for sleepovers.
