The Ship of Dreams

Touted as the safest, largest, most luxurious ship in the world, the Titanic is a beacon of hope on both sides of the Atlantic. The ship is the culmination of humanity's ambitions, hopes and dreams of conquering the sea. She beckons rich and poor alike, promising to fulfil the dreams of all those who step aboard her decks.

Emmeline Bartrop is a young girl who harbours such dreams. Stifled by the expectations of a society that refuses to accept her, she boards the Titanic hoping to find direction in America. For a few wild days onboard the opulent liner she finally tastes the freedom she has longed for her whole life. But icebergs fill the Atlantic, and all it takes is one to tear a hole in the Titanic and sink the ship-along with the hopes and dreams of Emmeline and the two thousand other souls onboard.

The story of the ill-fated liner is well-known all over the world. Can the ship and all those who sail on her escape the cruel fate that history has in store for them this time, or are they doomed to end up in the bottom of the North Atlantic, again and again, as they have in every iteration of the story?
