"Me? Yeah my name's Jake, not that it matters. This story doesn't revolve around me, it's about this city or rather this world. Why? Because everywhere you go, there's zombies. Yeah they're real and they appeared because of what we call the day of night. It was early in the morning and yet the sky was as dark as a snow queens heart. Well it WAS dark until the red mist showed up. Many say that it's natures way of getting back at us.
I was awake when it happened, walking through the streets, I saw it first hand. One moment people were talking gibberish and the next they were ripping each other's flesh off and gnawing on their insides. You'd be lucky if they killed you instantly. Those flesh craving monsters have no remorse.
We saw most of our friends get eaten by them and it was horrific. We saw everything. Their entrails getting ripped out, their heads and limbs getting pulled off of their bodies, whatever you saw in horror movies, we've seen it first-hand. Their screams were ringing through everyones ears but guess what, we couldn't help them and I wouldn't either. I'm not dumb enough to risk my life just to die for a friend. I know it's low but who cares. There's also this one, whatever it is. I see it every time one of my friends get ripped apart. It creeps me out man. I think it's following us. No matter what's done to humans around it, it never responds nor does it look or even smell for humans like the rest of them. The zombies here pride themselves on their keen sense of smell. It helps them locate us.
Oh yeah another thing I forgot to mention is that there's no cure. There's no time for that when humans are constantly running and trying to find their next meals before they become meals themselves."

He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her.
