"Dude, can you let me sit?" Caleb questioned, pointing at the seat beside mine.
Blake narrowed his eyes. "No thanks. I'm sitting here today."
"What?"
"You heard me. I'm sitting here today," Blake repeated, his hands balling into fits at his sides.
I grabbed his arm, not wanting a repeat of last time. If that happens again, there was a good chance Blake would get expelled.

All Poppy Williams wanted was to get through Senior year without any problems. Undoubtedly, life wasn't all that fond of her. After getting thrown into a situation she knew nothing about and starting an unexpected friendship with an old acquaintance, she knew her year wasn't going to go according to plan anymore.
Enter Blake Nixon, the high school hotshot and Poppy's new friend. He'd always been intrigued by the girl named after a flower, and now, he finally had the chance to get to know her better. Now that he's gotten closer to her, everyone will admit it, the two of them have some seriously undeniable chemistry.
If life didn't throw curveballs, it would end there, but there always had to be a little twist, right? Here, that twist is Caleb Harris, the new kid, who earned Poppy's attention the moment he sat on her seat in class. He wanted his Pop Rocks, and he surely wasn't going down without a fight.
Had someone only warned Poppy about her absolute whirlwind of a Senior year, maybe she wouldn't catch herself in such a pickle. Besides, how could she pick between flowers and pop rocks?
