You remind me of fall The sky, the color, the vibe The feeling and the the emptiness it lies You got me with your strength When the Earth seem to crash before you The time you felt like no one's with you Those after-school cries Reliving memories over a tray of sushi You did not read me between the lines Time passed right of our very eyes Separately, I lived my life, you lived yours We never missed our birthdays still Now I'm kissing goodbye To our memories, fun and precise To my night time dreams, were you were always in disguise You remind me of fall Enchanting, wondrous, and The one that never dared As quick as sand you chose to leave Just like how October changes the colors of the leaves For I am Autumn and you are fall You were my almost But you deserve a vibrant life Without me in it I WISH YOU THE BEST.
