Red Planet

The start of each day can be a challenge on the Red Planet, as Ally knows. High temperatures mean the death index is ten minutes in the shade and her favorite hang-out, the local recreation center, is closed. Mom is serving roach paste for breakfast. However, there is an interesting new boy at school, if she can capture his attention before her friend Mia does. Donning her heatsuit, Ally heads off through the sand dunes for another day of classes on the Red Planet.
