**IMPORTANT**
This book is very much just an introduction followed by incorporating the new character into the established world and timeline. As the author, I would suggest the following.
1. Read "Philosopher's Stone" (this book) till before the chapter titled "THE JOURNEY FROM PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS"
2. Skip the rest. It is merely a telling of what you have already read in canon, just from a different perspective.
3. Move to "The Chamber of Secrets" and start with the chapter titled "TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE." All the chapters before that are, once again, events you would already be familiar with.
4. Finish book 2 and move on to book 3. There on after, you can read normally.
This isn't compulsory. It is simply, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy the series. Since I understand that some portions of the first two books are not very different from canon and thus, can seen boring.
Thank you for understanding and hope you enjoy!
