Every day she and her best friend Carter go to school, deal with bullies, and do their homework at the library together. It's a pretty normal life - Until one day, while at the library, a strange sequence of events leaves Ashley in possession of a scepter belonging to none other than the god of mischief himself, Loki Odinson. And it doesn't help that the avengers are all taking a vacation...
