Destiny. What a fickle thing. Neither of them quite believed in it, until the unexpected occurred and they were forced to face its' reality. Both of them were tangled deep in its' web, with no chance for escape. Now, their only option is to accept destiny's call or face the consequences of ignoring it.

While reading the first book of "The Witcher" - some scenes of what could happen came to my mind. For that reason I decided to write to see where my imagination would take me. The events arise after Yennefer and Geralt argue over the third wish. In a reunion, the witcher isn't well received and the mage sends him, with Jaskier, through a portal to the present day. After time travel, both need to adapt to the new reality. Therefore, a new character, Janet, and a new creature appear. However, Janet asks Geralt for help but to do so she will have to make him believe that she needs to be saved. Regardless of the challenges they will face next. Hope you like it!

After years apart, Geralt and Jaskier finally reunite. But the wounds of their previous encounter still hold strong. Jaskier has already moved on from said wound yet finds himself furious with Geralt. Geralt struggles to apologize after his mistake, knowing full and well he is solely to blame.
