Toshi is a guard at a prison-like facility for testing on half wolf, half humans, hybrids. He doesn't like it, but having a background with fighting and his smarts, they've kidnapped his sister to use him as a guard for the more dangerous hybrids. Usuall the wolves are shy, quiet and avoid him, or violent and angry. But then he meets Corri. Corri throws him side comments ad frusturates him, and overall seems worried about his dog, Star. This throws Toshi a loop. And he actually starts to care a bit.
