She had been the famous, sought-after teenage star of her generation. But like every star, she was destined to fall. While doing a kidnapping scene for her latest movie, no one expected she would be gone for good. When she didn't return after the last take, everyone thought she was kidnapped. A young girl, Hope, gets taken from the life she knew and has to save a newly found friend. In doing so she allows herself to be captured. In captivity she finds a new story to her life.

This story is about a teenage girl who is having dreams about being captured by this strange man. Now in the real world, she is being stalked by this neighbor that she knows who just moved in. She is paranoid what he's going to do and does not know what to do but run. She also gets help from 2 other guys.

Kenzie has been having dreams. Well, they're nightmares actually. She wakes up in the middle of the night, every night, screaming, terrified of what happened. One day, the nightmare, becomes her life. She is taken, will she be found again?

The story revolves around a girl who suffers from mental illnesses and among those is maladaptive daydreaming. At first, there was no implications with it, she doesn't have a problem with it and so does her therapist as she uses it as a coping mechanism. However, an unexpected interaction happened and it changed the course of her life. This occurrence started affecting her life and relationship; she's finally seeing the negative effects. Her fantasy and reality began coinciding and she started having a hard time identifying which is which.
