So this is my Criminal Minds fanfic. I'm just testing it right now so please give feedback!
I really want to know if the beginning really grabs you and leaves you wanting more so leave any requests if you think I should do something different or if it works.
Of course I'm not a Criminal Minds expert but I love the show, so sorry if things aren't exactly like the TV show. I hope you enjoy!!

She impresses the team with her smarts and catches the eye of Agent Spencer Reid. But everyone has their baggage. Can Lauren get over her past or will it take more than that to make peace?

This is 1/2 part of what I'm working on. It's kind of a haters to lovers type vibe, so there will be more of a slow burn angsty tension rather than straight up smut :) While I was writing the 50th chapter. I found a better way to describe this version of Y/N and Emily Prentiss: A self destructive drug addict with a traumatic past meets a somewhat patient federal agent... So, there will be a lot of substance usage in this story.. And it'll probably be somewhat toxic because I'm definitely not promoting substance abuse. Y/N is a total mess. After surviving an abusive relationship with the son of a mob boss who made her do some horrible things, she's been stuck in a downward spiral of anger, guilt, and self-destruction. Losing her dad a few days after her escape only made herangrier. She's selfish and a coward, always trying to protect herself. Before we begin, I should say that this story is a little mix up of the storyline. I know some might not like it, but this is just what I thought would work best for their lives. You guys are the readers, and I would love some feedback from you amazing people. This is the first Aaron Hotchner x OC I have written, and this is going to be in a bit of a different style compared to what typically appears on my page, so I hope you guys enjoy it. It's not actually that different, but I changed my approach to writing, and I actually preferred it. This is an enemies to lovers with a fast and slow burn pace???????? This is a purely self indulgent fic of an OC I wrote with Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds. So, enjoy if you like, it's pretty much just the things my brain spontaneously manifests as I watch through the series for the first time. Seriously, half of these chapters are just me getting violently angry at the canon and then going "I'm gonna fix it" and making it worse for fun.
