This is a story I started writing to cope and process with covid and the uncertainty of the present. A young woman who works at a bookstore that is falling apart is thrust into a world of uncertainty when an alien ship crashes and the government uses it as an opportunity to further solidify power. There is magic, political unrest, aliens, and whatever else I thought would be fun to write.
