Dream has been struggling with his image for a while. Constantly fearing for himself as he's surrounded by people who don't know who he is with the overwhelming urge to believe they do know who he is. In need of an escape he turns to one of his bestfriends to help him through his though time. Clay was born too early which makes him struggle a lot. His daily battle with multiple disabilities doesn't make his life easy and after also being bullied, even by his own brother, he shuts down around almost everyone and develops selective mutism. Instead of talking, he starts writing to the person he wants to become friends with. George who struggles with ADHD and a mood disorder suddenly receives notes in his locker each day from an unknown person. The notes cheer him up each time and at the same time he starts becoming closer to the quiet and shy Clay. When George also becomes friends with Clay's brother, he has to choose between either him, who hates Clay, or choose for the sweet Clay. But does he fall for the manipulative behaviour of Clay's brother or does he stay loyal to Clay? so, have you ever wondered what may have happened if george never did what he did at dream and fundy's wedding? this fanfic is an idea of what may have happened.
