I was born on January 5th, uno-uno. I was born Nameless - like all kids these days. I had no name when I was born. No one here does. Parents aren't allowed to name us beforehand. Which makes sense; what if the baby doesn't make it? Don't want to get too attached, they say. I was named after 24 hours, like all babies, and my name became Everest Oswell. That's Mr. Oswell to you. (Naw, I'm just kidding.) This is what I'd like to have my beginning be. But, that's not how it goes. I was born on January 5th, uno-uno. I was born Nameless - like all kids these days. But me? I stayed that way. My Mom died giving birth, they tell me, and my Dad had a heart attack when he found out. Kind of pathetic, if you ask me. I mean, c'mon. So, I'm Homeless, Foodless, Sevless, and...yeah, you guessed it. Nameless. Welcome to my world.
