The celebrities are unable to jet off to Australia this year, but that doesn't mean they're off the hook. 

Moved to a haunted castle in North Wales, I'm A Celebrity has a brand new look thanks to coronavirus and the hell of a year, or year of hell, that was 2020. 

Natalia Garcia-Smith was supposed to have the year of her life. After releasing her first studio album, she was booked to support Harry Styles on his Love On Tour, but instead she was stuck at home like everyone else. So when ITV called, offering her a space in this years line up she had to accept, if anything just to get away from her parents for more than a week!


Perri Kiely was fresh off hosting his new KISS radio show when he got the call, also accepting quickly, to follow in the footsteps of his best friend Jordan (and secretly hoping to do better). 

When they meet, they're strangers stuck on top of a hill in the middle of Wales, about to enter a haunted castle. But three weeks is a long time, and when they leave, everything may be different.All Rights Reserved

Tv shows were allowed back to filming and through the year of 2021 things slowly picked up and things started opening up again. Life felt normal again. The Donnelly's, Ant and Stephen feel like they are through the tunnel to the other side. All have been vaccinated and boosted and Charlie feels she got something so special out of the lockdown. She and Stephen this year will be celebrating two years together as boyfriend and girlfriend and couldn't love each more. Their relationship continues to stay strong and hosting Ant Vs Dec on takeaway is always a huge laugh, though Charlie and Stephen miss BGMT. Half way through 2022 and everyone feels they are back into a sort of rhythm and have shown they can come together through anything. Ali and Dec have become parents again to a baby boy called Jack and Charlie is thrilled to be a big sister for the second time and Isla a big sister for the first time. Somethings might never be the same but sometimes change is good.
