Short story with only one part dedicated to someone who happens to play a significant role in my over all happiness. He stayed awake with me one night as I cried to him about how cruel the world can be but on that night, I found peace in imagining a "happy place" to which we can escape and find eternal contentment. This was written that night after I had told him I was "going to sleep". I put into it my sincerest emotions just as I do with all of my writing and I hope that by publishing this short story, others can find some serenity in their lives. We all could use a little break, don't you think?All Rights Reserved

I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words.
