In the nightmare-inducing trenches of 1917, a bataillon of soldiers witnesses a strange solar eclipse, which is followed by horrors from far beyond the human ability to comprehend.
This Summer, I discovered the amazing universe of cosmic horror that the great H. P. Lovecraft opened up nearly a century ago. After reading "The Color Out of Space" and "The Shunned House", I knew that I had to write a Lovecraftian short story myself - complete with as many elements of his unmistakable style as I was able to find.
