After disaster strikes during the summer after her second year of college, y/n ends up at her best friend Tommy's house for the rest of the summer. She discovers that he has been keeping his biggest secret from her for years, and doesn't know what to do when she is either faced with the decision to either forget her best friend forever or participate in a war that means life... or death.
This will be a "choose a path" sort of story. Basically there will be a crossroad where you will pick the story that you want to follow. Some of them will be friendships and others will be romance, just depends on what I've written for them. This is aged up as well (at least for Tommy and Tubbo, them + y/n are 19-20), but there will be no smut for anyone regardless. Do not ask for it.
This does not directly follow the events that happen on the Dream SMP server, this is just an interpretation of it.

I've been craving to write something and I've been watching a lot of Minecraft youtubers so it all kind of manifested into this. I hope you guys enjoy! Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
