I smiled and mouthed thank you to him.
My heart skipped a beat when he started to lean closer to give me a peck in the cheek, which threw me off-guard.
"I have to say something" He said while grabbing my wrist and pull me to walk with him. When we're now alone in the garden, He looked at me in the eye.
There are so many emotions you can see through his eyes. Adoration, Awe, Happiness, Sorrow and Guilt.
"Gabriella, I-" His phone cut him off. I mentally threw a tantrum.
He answered his phone and listened to the caller. Suddenly, his eyes widened and said an okay to the caller and hung up.
He looked at me with full of sorrow and panic. I looked at him, alarmed.
"S-something happened to Paulina, Gabe. I have to go"
It's like a knife. No, Knives stabbed me in the heart that it hurts.
"Your uncle is there for her. Even her Mother. Why are you going?" I asked exasperated.
"I--"
