New Origins: Eyeless Jack

~Strong Language Warning~

One of the dogs lunges at me and bites into my arm as it starts to shake it's head. I backhand the animal hard enough to get it to let go and an equally vicious deep growl escapes my throat as I face it's direction, still holding the man down with one hand. One of the dogs whimper while I hear another charge at me. I growl very loudly as I bare my teeth and the dogs run away as they whimper.
"Motherfucker!" The man shouts and a second after a few gun shots go off as a white hot agony pierces my upper torso.
I press my free hand against my chest as I start gasping and coughing violently allowing the man to move away though he doesn't run. He remains silent as I struggle to breath for what feels like forever but was probably more like at least two minutes when I spit something out into my hand. Whatever it is, it makes a soft tinging sound as they hit each other. I can only assume it's the bullets.
"Oh shit." The man says as I hear him take off running.
I drop the bullets and take off running after the man, following the sound of his breathing, swearing and footsteps.
"Fuck! What the hell is that thing?!" The man swears as I hear him make a sharp turn and immediately follow suit. "Damn it, that thing sure as hell doesn't act eyeless."
"So the hunter now turns tail from his prey?" I call out with a smirk as I remove my belt to use as a weapon, surprising myself.
