In the city of mysteries, market day is rudely interrupted by the magic of some wicked witch, and Edith finds herself in the centre of the chaos, wanting to help save her city, but realising that she can not do it alone. She enlists the help of her best friend who takes two more allies of his to storm the lair of the dastardly person who reeked havoc in the city. She turns around to silence them both but unknowingly diverts her car to the other lane and crashes into Gideon's Porsche. The accident happens in a flash, pushing Gideon over the bridge and the other car into the railing, resulting in the death of a single mum. Gideon barely escapes drowning and is pretty pissed as he has to walk all the way home. But strange things happen, and he realizes his life isn't the same anymore.
