A short story I wrote for a school assignment.
The year is 2489, a deadly disease called the Deus Terminitis has plagued the great nation of the Hicestigi Republic by storm, literally. The disease introduces itself as dangerous wind storms that carry it, and those hit by those winds will most likely catch it. It first shows its symptoms as unusual swells and hives on the skin, then in some cases, one body part would bloat and swell into inhuman sizes. So far, no one has come in contact with a victim and returned, and so the later symptoms aren't recorded, besides seemingly driving one into feral insanity, which we cannot confirm yet.

With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. The wind from the ocean picks my hair up, sending it blowing back towards the multi-colored houses lining the shore line. *** 'Quinn, don't panic,' Lexi says through gritted teeth. She holds fistfuls of my shirt now, and I hear the rubber soles of her shoes squeaking. 'Too late,' I whine, grabbing the barbed wire in a last desperate effort to regain some balance. The razor sharp blades cut into my palms, making me jump again. Lexi sucks in air and loses her grip on me. I hold my breath and close my eyes, feeling the wind cradle me from all sides as I fall at about twenty-four miles per hour, considering the height of the wall and my weight. Now, I wish I was surrounded by water." South of Compound 4, another compound exists. Lost in Time
Commander Nia, of The USS Nebulus, follows a cosmic trail to find her captain, who is kidnapped by a Type V civilization in the Epsilon Carinae System of the Carina-Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. She descends into an H II cloud, breath bated, unaware of what awaits her on the other side. What she finds sends a shockwave that shudders her very pillars of existence. *Fun Fact* This story began as a short story I wrote a while back. But then I thought, what the hell, couldn't hurt to try and make it a ten-volume novella. That's why the first part is quite long spanning about 5,000 words. Fallen Star
This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Now he have to survive this warrior world that seeks to use him or destroy him, but under his meek facade is something much more then any one could imagine. Hope you enjoy.
Restless
The end of mankind has finally come, in the least spectacular way. When pen-pals Neri, a Canadian, and Eleni, an American, finally meet each other in the flesh for the first time, they believe it's the happiest day of their lives. That is, until planes fall from the sky, a virus spreads like wildfire, and mushroom clouds of flame fill the sky. Why? Because of one thing the media never released: the DED virus. Similar to other zombie-like infections, DED does three things: infect, reawaken, and devour the living. After learning of possibly the only safe place on the continent, Florida and all other states and countries become overridden by the Restless and insignificant to survivors. Eleni and Neri are going to embark on a daring trek all the way from Florida back to the Canadian border, where the remainder of the survivors have relocated.
