Paradise For All

A short story I wrote for a school assignment.

The year is 2489, a deadly disease called the Deus Terminitis has plagued the great nation of the Hicestigi Republic by storm, literally. The disease introduces itself as dangerous wind storms that carry it, and those hit by those winds will most likely catch it. It first shows its symptoms as unusual swells and hives on the skin, then in some cases, one body part would bloat and swell into inhuman sizes. So far, no one has come in contact with a victim and returned, and so the later symptoms aren't recorded, besides seemingly driving one into feral insanity, which we cannot confirm yet.
