Oikawa Tooru's homophobic parents are starting to get suspicious of his sexuality. He has done his best to keep the fact that he is gay under wraps but something always tears away at the image he has created for himself. This is a story of Tooru gradually becoming comfortable with who he is while dealing with the criticism of many around him. Though there are hardships, he gets through with the help of his friends.
One needs to be true to themselves and get past society's image of who people "should be". Embrace yourself and who you really are. Some may not accept you, so you have to find the ones who do. Once you find them, you hold onto them because they are hard to come by.
