A Tale Of Peculiars

Ykarrians, a race of mutants. They reside alongside humans. They lived together in harmony until a great conflict drove a rift between them.

After years of war, the ykarrians fled and hid behind thick forests and mountain ranges. They set up a civilization where they thrived and lived in peace. In order to have an extra layer of protection, powerful ykarrians made a wall of electric fields and invisibility shields around their community. Soon, other ykarrians from other countries followed suit and hid themselves from the humans using the same technique.

Years passed, the small communities grew in size and soon became countries, each with their own set of villages. The ykarrians still live inside their protective barriers, invisible to those living outside their territories.

17 year old Isabel is one of these ykarrians. She lives in the Village Of Cabbages in the Country Of Souls. She is only a few months from getting her special badge. However, there is one problem: she has no full control of her powers.

She has an ability so rare it's considered dangerous. Because of curiosity and stubbornness wrapped into one, she and her friends climbed up the Forbidden Mountain where they stumbled upon a large cave that housed the one thing that will change the world of both humans and ykarrians forever.
