Gryffindor lost the quidditch match. Against slytherin. Don't ask me how- it was the last second of the game. Harry was racing against Malfoy, getting farther and farther ahead, and in the blink of an eye, he caught it. The snitch. No, not Harry. Malfoy. Honestly, it was an embarrassment. Don't get me wrong, I love Harry to death, but losing the quidditch cup when we had "The Boy Who Lived" as our seeker, especially against slytherin, had the whole of gryffindor throwing themselves a pity party. It had been 5 days since that fateful quidditch match when we were given an offer that was impossible to refuse.

She was supposed to win. The cup. The glory. The legacy. But when Harriet Potter-Beauxbatons Champion, the Girl Who Lived-stepped into the maze, she didn't come out with victory. She came out holding his hand. Now the world is watching. Judging. Whispering. Because she chose Draco Malfoy. Not the golden boy. Not the cup. Him. The boy with a name drenched in expectation and a voice that only softened for her. The one she wasn't supposed to love-but couldn't leave behind. This isn't a story about winning. It's about choosing-and the fire that comes after.
