Guardians of the Light (Book 1: Rebirth)
Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children. They became known as the Children of the Light. Their sacrifice was not in vain, leaving behind spoken words for the next generation of children born with the pure light energy within them. Over time an organisation built on these words was formed called The Guardians, who were tasked to seek out the next chosen children and protect them from The Darkness should it rise again. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian. The story continues on with Ronin seeking answers from the Elders about how a Guardian could come back from the dead.Complete

Ashes and Embers
Mara comes from a poor background, fighting from a young age to make something of herself. This led her to the academy, a military recruitment organization where solider bled and where spirits were broken. Its where HE is...where he grew up, Kael..... Kael is arrogant, prideful and infuriating. The golden boy, the standard, the heir of power. What happens when Mara and Kael find themselves thrown together in the academy? Working together against odds stacked against them from the corruption of power. Will they overcome these trials together? Or will they both be destined to fail? ------------------------------------------------------------------ This is a slowburn, enemies to lovers story. Its a work in progress and its not perfect. I'm just a girl who loves dystopian stories and who lives inside her mind wanting to create a simple story with some of my favorite/common tropes. Like I said this story isn't PERFECT, I wrote this many years ago and I've just never published it anywhere. So I understand it can be a bit confusing. But I tried to fix it up and I'm adding to it.
