Violette Manilacai is a seventeen year old girl, almost eighteen, that lived in a basic busy city. She loved to dance, ballet, hip hop, jazz, she loved it all. Though her life sounds like no worry, she was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a condition that slowly turns people blind as they age. During her teen years, she has been experiencing hard symptoms that she never had before, very harsh blurs near light, not being able to make out words in books and papers, and seeing peoples' faces and not being able to recognize them. She knew she was going blind sooner or later. If she turns blind, what would happen? Would she still be able to go to school? Better yet, would she still be able to dance and live her dream of dancing in front of a real crowd? She worried about this all her life, and it was coming soon, very, very soon...

*****
Dallas Bryan is a no-nonsense cheerleader with her sights set on a dance scholarship to CalArts. Drayton Lahey is the bad boy quarterback from football royalty who's completely wrong for her; at least, that's what she tells herself. Sparks fly in all directions when Dallas and Dray are around each other, but the longer she tells herself she doesn't need him, the quicker she realizes it might be time to forget about what she needs-and go after what she wants.
