''It's dangerous''
"So??"
"Someone might kill you, le feu, why must you be so stubborn?''
"No one is going to be able to kill me Draco..... They don't have that privilege." He looked at her with a pained look. "Only I do."
His eyes widened, his expression changing from pained to horrified. Her eyes had the same look in them that he so often saw, wild, reckless, piercing to the very soul of a person, one that could easily devour the whole world.

One Time Thing | Draco Malfoy by ShallowMeii

The Malfoy name had always been synonymous with power, with wealth, with an unshakable sense of superiority. Love, romance-those were trivial distractions. Draco had been raised to believe that emotions were a weakness, that attachments were dangerous, that desire was meant to be controlled, not surrendered to. And yet, here he was. The air in the dimly lit room was thick with the scent of whiskey and something floral-her perfume, lingering on his skin like a ghost. The silk sheets beneath him were still warm from where she had laid, her absence now a space that made his chest tighten in a way he didn't want to name. His fingers curled into the fabric, a desperate attempt to anchor himself, to pretend like this was no different than the countless other nights, with countless other women. But it was. He had told himself that being with her-for one night and one night only-would be just like all the others. A brief way to silence the war inside his mind, to drown in something other than regret and expectation. An escape from the weight of his name, from the legacy that bound him in chains. But Ophelia Evans was not like the others. She was a poison, seeping into his veins with every breath, every whispered word, every touch that lingered too long. A drug, intoxicating and lethal, something he knew he should resist but couldn't bring himself to. He had told himself it was a game, that he was in control. That he could have her once and walk away unscathed. He had been wrong. Now, she was everywhere-burned into his skin, embedded in his thoughts, a quiet ache he could not rid himself of. And it was too late. His body tensed, his mind scrambling to suppress the unwelcome emotions clawing at his ribs. He was a Malfoy. He was supposed to be untouchable. But as he exhaled shakily, running a hand through his disheveled hair, he realized the truth. She had undone him. And he wasn't sure he wanted to be put back together.

⚠️*PLEASE READ WARNINGS/TAGS!* "No?" He feigned hurt for a second, but his lips eventually twitched. "Hmm, how'd you explain this then?" Keeping one hand curled around the apex of my stiffened thigh, he freed the other from around my throat and swept two of his fingers across my burning cheek, down until they brushed against my parted lips. I tried and failed to formulate a verbal response. "No need to be shy about it," His voice was half-way between a sneer and mock assurance. "I tend to have that effect on people," The pad of his thumb was smooth against my parted lips. He kept brushing it back and forth, back and forth- I went to bite him. "Fucking- Bloody hell!" He pulled his hand away just in time, securing it in a pissed off grip around my jaw again. My glare became seething, yet still, I remained silent. "Didn't realize I was talking to a fucking Piranha," Draco huffed. I tried to ignore the aching feeling that came from the sensation of his hand still up my thigh, and instead began shooting out my insults. "Why the fuck would I want to do anything with you?" The only response I earned was a cocked eyebrow. So arrogant. "You- you're a pervert!" Draco didn't miss a beat. "And you're a fucking Mudblood slut." His smirk widened. "Aren't we just the pair?" My head began throbbing. "Fuck you." I intended to sound intimidating but you could practically hear me quivering -- buckling. "Fuck you. Fuck your little manipulation games. I'm not Astoria. Or Pansy. I'd rather open my legs to a chainsaw than to you." All this evoked from his stupid face, was a brief glimmer of amusement in his eye. This spark suddenly died - and then he was studying me. Thinking, deciding, calculating; and I was too busy ranting to pay much attention to what he could be plotting... "Fuck your petty, bullying threats. Fuck your stupid, stupid friends. Fuck your poxy little piece of Jewellery and fuck- oh god---!"

"Must be tough, everyone loves you, don't they? So goddamn perfect. They don't see it but I do, Potter. I can see straight through you." "And what do you see, Malfoy?" "That you're a mess, aren't you?" She stared at him, rivalling his own expressionless mask. "You're the first person to say that to me." "Well of course," he swung a leg, pacing around her lazily. "Everyone is too busy seeing the hero, but when you hate someone enough, you see their flaws, their weaknesses." Her mask fell and she smiled to herself. "So you hate me?" She said, playfully. "Of course, isn't that what we do, hate each other?" The smile grew enough for dimples to appear. "I guess so." "So yes, I hate you." "I hate you too," she smiled. Draco couldn't help it, his lips tugged slightly at the corners while laughter stayed restrained in his glimmering eyes. "Good, I'm glad that's established," Draco announced. "We hate each other." --------------------------- A miserable childhood of neglect, Harper Potter needed someone to teach her the ability to love in order to overcome the darkest wizard of all time. She just wasn't expecting that someone to be the guy who taunted her every quidditch match. Featuring. Female Harry x Draco
