The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. I own the rights to the articles and Queen Mum of the Ooze, Kay Patterson has allowed me to keep the name "Gore Monger" (which she owns) provided I write: The Gore Monger appears courtesy of Nocturnal Ooze. His Obsession
"Uhm.. Sir? Can I help you?" I mumble while staring at him. He breaks out into a huge grin, the kind of grin you see on little kids when they get their favorite toy. He reaches out to me, and I start to fall backwards trying to move away. He latches onto my elbow, pulling me into his chest. He inhales deeply, mumbling something I can't hear. Before everything goes black. "This is turning into a good night after all.." ------------------------------------------------------- This is a dark horror romance about a young woman named Layla. Trying to escape her past, she flees to another city, hoping for a fresh start. Little does she know, that was her biggest mistake. That is where he sees her for the first time. And he will stop at nothing to make her his. His murderous obsession for her knows no bounds. What will she do when she finds herself trapped in his clutches?Завершенная история
The Witch's Toy ✔
[completed] horror // paranormal // romance A witch girl tied to cursed demons and her dear puppet boy who kills them. ••• I traced the characters with a finger, my brows coming together with concentration as I read the curling black ink. It was a binding talisman - one of the many that had been strung across the door. And it had broken when the door had swung open. Dread seeped into my heart as I gasped out loud, a chill coming over me. I swallowed, breathing irregular, as I kept my eyes glued to the wooden floor. A shadow had crept up in front of me, belonging to the one thing that I had seen inside of the room just seconds before. The drummer boy lifted my chin up. When I met his eyes, I was paralyzed. The brown color was the same, but where that thin smile once was replaced by one that stretched wide, splitting his entire face in half. I stared at the sharp daggers of each tooth, legs quivering so violently I thought I would collapse onto the floor. "Hello, witch girl," the drummer boy purred, watching me with the eyes of a predator. "Thank you for freeing me." ••• cover by @scmimi note: This book contains themes of suicide, self-harm, bullying, religion, and superstition (particularly East Asian superstition). Although these aren't the main focus in the plotline, please keep in mind that the above are mentioned at least once. dec 31 2017 - feb 04 2019.Завершенная история
Awakening Sheeple
Kaysen and Avery have been in love for lifetimes. They will have to take their love to a higher energy so they can be together forever but will that be enough? Spreading the truth can be dangerous business. Those that hear this truth first are not the people you would expect... or are they even considered people at all? The Owners maintain their power as the ultimate puppeteers of humanity. Banded together humans are strong, fearless and tenacious. Keep individuals separate by misleading information through religion, government and media, then we are confused and misdirected, weak and pathetic... Perfect puppets for their future plans. Can these young lovers hold onto their love or will they make the ultimate sacrifice until another life time? Their mission is to organize and educate large groups of people all around the world, before all of us fall into the Owners delusions and are trapped in this low dimensional fog forever. The pressure of that alone is a lot for any normal person to handle and is an accomplishment of epic proportions. Make It Out Alive
The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. The cold air from the hallway seeps through my already wet cold clothes, making me shiver. I'm almost at the end of the hallway when I see a door on my left. I stop and stand in front of it. I place my hand on the doorknob and twist it open. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness, finally I see what's in the room. A scream of terror erupts from my throat. My body freezes itself as I stare at the hanged corpse of one of my friends.--------------------Think about this: What do you think will happen when 100 passengers crash land on an abandoned island and only 8 survive. And what they don't know is that the island has its own secrets....secrets that can kill.Завершенная история
