Tiger is a trans teen in Nigeria whose identity is secret because of the country's law against LGBT but when she attends her new school, being trans feels like a little thing in the grand scheme of things as she not only makes friends, she gets into the prestigious acting team and is on her way to winning the national award for best actress in secondary school, also well, she now has Thomas, the boy who makes her feel things.

But when Tiger thought things were going well, it begins to erupt slowly. Though she shouldn't feel this way, she can't help the tightening feeling in her chest whenever Thomas tries to go down and like the feelings in her chest isn't enough, a threatening letter asking her to give up Thomas, the acting position, the drama team and the school or risk the whole school knowing that she's "a boy in a girl's body"
