Two years after the War, the Ministry of Magic announces they will be offering entry-level jobs to former Death Eaters on probation, who've been displaying good behaviour, as a way to settle the rest of their sentence.
In the midst of this, Ministry employee and Director of the S.P.E.W. Sector Hermione Granger has to figure out who sent her an unexpected package of letters just a day before this was announced, all of the letters addressed to her during her later years at Hogwarts.
When she finally discovers who the sender is, she realizes that a lot can happen in 2 years and a lot more is yet to come.
