The epic saga of The Sacred War follows the rise and fall of heroic Emperor Claudius Trukhemir Scholarius, Skylor for short, as he leads his people against a tyrannical enemy. After his father's death, Skylor ascends to the Iznutian throne with the assistance of his trusted brother Arruns Trukhemir Corabonus, Korabon for short. Under Skylor's visionary rule, Iznut prospers but is soon embroiled in a bloody war against the expanding Republic of Frengia.

Through dramatic battles across deserts, forests, cities and fortresses, we see Skylor's tactical brilliance and Korabon's unyielding support as they fight to defend their homeland. But as the costs of battle take their toll, Skylor finds his resolve wavering in the face of despair. When peace seems just out of reach, a betrayal changes the course of the war forever.

Witness the climax of this war as one brother's vision is realized through another's unflinching drive for victory. Rich with epic battles, Spellbinding leadership and intrigue, The Sacred War is an immersive historical saga that will keep you gripped until the final, unexpected twist.

Eros, a world forsaken by its gods, left to be governed by kings and Magi, gifted with control over various elements. *** Some say the gods are dead. That Godswar left no victor standing. That perhaps they never wore flesh at all, and old tales are mere tales. Others say they have left this land to their creations, or merely left their bodies, and are now the living spirit of their own element, gifting and empowering their chosens. There's, however, a whisper of madness, or perhaps a jest, that the gods are alive, never ceasing to weave fate to their whims. That they will be seen once again, in time to finish Godswar. Whether it is the gods' will, or not, as the ambitions of kings and outlaws tangle with ploys of betrayal, personal vendettas, fury and passion, a war is sure to come.
