Scarlet is the seventeen-year-old mercenary of a long forgotten world. Kidnapped as a young child she was forced to kill. But that was a long time ago, now she is a thief and a fine one at that. She expected nothing more in life than to live in the woods, stealing until she died. She also knew her place; she didn't belong, not with the band of thieves, not in a town, and certainly not with her family. But she might be wrong about that last one.
