Y/n had always wanted to be a hero but after your father died your family hit hard times. And you had to start working at a young age to help your family. you had to give up your dream of going to UA. And work in a coffee shop. Not that you mind your not really sure your quirk is strong enough to be a hero anyways. Then one day a man comes into the coffee shop and changes everything. now your a student at UA. and a certain heterochomic has his eyes on you. btw I will not be following the plot of the anime/manga so If you like that then you probably shouldn't read this but if your like me and your bored of that then you might enjoy this.

The year after you were born, your parents gave you up for adoption. You were adopted by a lovely, quirkless couple that loved like you were their own flesh and blood. You also grew up in a quirkless neighborhood. Everybody loved you until, you got your quirk. People started to avoid and shun you for being a freak. You were depressed and alone. One day, as you were on your way to finish the 7th grade, a villain attacked near your quiet community. You, being the only person with a quirk, try to fight the villain. A pro hero comes to your aid and witnesses your amazing skills. He suggests for you to enroll in UA but, with you being a year younger and still has to finish junior high, he encourages you to skip a grade to enter. You take on that chance and you work hard to achieve that goal, along with training with that pro hero. As the faithful day came, you were accepted into UA! Unfortunately, you miss the whole first two days of the semester due to a cold. Soon enough, finally attended UA and meet your fellow, student peers. You finally found a place where you belong! Yet, one student in particular seemed to catch your eye. An ash haired boy, who has a HUGE temper and ego, and is set on becoming the #1 hero. Huh, a cocky bastard and a outcast. After the sports festival, he drastically changed due to the words that Izuku said and saw what he did for his son. He ended up visiting his wife in the mental hospital to talk to her and he came to so many realizations. He apologized to her and promised to do better and have her released from the hospital to return home if she wished or to move into a new home at her desire. This shocked the family and they were willing to hear him out and see his change. Touya Todoroki aka Dabi is an undercover hero for the hero commission in this AU. The family is aware of him being an underground hero. Dabi did it as a form of protest against his father since he wanted him to go into the spotlight but refused and went underground heroics. The family doesn't know his undercover look or name but he does return home often when he can. (He does not have the scars permanently. They are due to a quirk that changes his looks.)
