Catarina Hutchinson knew how to put on a fake facade, she'd been doing it her entire life. The daughter of a lifelong politician, she was always expected to act a certain way. Look a certain way. Be friends with certain groups and force a smile on her face, regardless of the dark cloud that always lingered in her head. One week long bachelorette trip was just another expectation from her social circle. Little did she know her life would be changed by the end of the week.

Jace Alexander was a rancher and a rough around the edges kind of person. He loved his family, the ranch, and a nice cold beer at the end of the day. When his ranch was invaded by a group of sorority sisters enjoying a bachelorette week away, the last thing he expected was to be blind sided by one of them. She's totally out of his league in every way possible, but that didn't stop him from throwing his proverbial hat in the race. They may seem like total opposites on paper, but there is always more than meets the eye.

Grace and Colton have known each other forever. Living in houses right beside the other, in a small quaint town in West Virginia, they went to school together, birthday partys together, vacations together, and apparently, even family reunions together. It's summer break, the last summer they have before they go to University. When Grace and her mother get invited to a family reunion from a distant cousin, they accept. As Grace is packing her bags for the summer long trip to the country-side in Alabama, her mother tells her that she invited Colton and his mom to come along for the trip, since it's their last summer together. What will happen when they have to stay in the same cabin as each other? Will they maybe become more than "just friends"? _________________________________________________________________ He looks down at me, as i look up. Our eyes meet, and a chill runs up my spine, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He tilts my chin up, and moves his head so that his lips are brushing my ear as he says, "You've got a little something on your lips, darling." My breathing hitches from our proximity, from his words. "Do I?" I manage to breathe out. He nods slowly, and then inches closer to my face. By now, we are only a few centimeters apart. His sweet honey eyes look from my eyes to my lips, and back to my eyes. "Wh-What's on my-" I stutter out as i move my hand up to touch my lips. Before i can finish my sentence, he grabs my wrist, and places my hand on the side of his neck. "Only the most beautiful shade of pink I've ever seen."

He takes a step forward and stops. He shakes his head looking down at his feet "I can't kiss you, Analia." Why does he have to say my name like that? The way he says it is so intoxicating. It sends chills throughout my body, every time it spills from out of his mouth. "Why not, Ryder?" I say lifting his head with my hand and resting it on his cheek. He looks into my eyes with widen eyes, knowing that I have the same affect on him, that he has on me. "Cause your kiss will be the death of me, Analia." "At least you'll die happy," I say shrugging, looking up at him. "Fuck it." *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ Analia, meaning kindhearted and compassionate. Analia Rayne was both those things. Even when she was both those things, her life was not as smooth as it seemed. A list of things is what made it not so perfect. A change is what she wanted and a change is what she got, a drastic one. To be an assassin. Many things came along with being an assassin, but it never mentioned him. Ryder, meaning warrior. Ryder Kingston was a hell of a warrior. He knew being an assassin too well, it is what he's been doing for years now. His past is the biggest why. Opening up was something he struggled with. But, never would he had thought that the girl with turquoise eyes, that once he looked into them he felt safe, with an obsession of baking, and sarcastic remarks would be someone he would confide in so easily. As much as Ryder didn't know, Analia also didn't know how this guy with no filter, literally, and a smile that she adored, would become her endless addiction. *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *Warning* Very mature and things that might be triggering are included.

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be. It could be my shortest with like four chapters, or my longest with thirty or more. You never know. I hope you enjoy it though!)

Nothing was going right for Mitch Alexander. Not only was he dealing with some major personal struggles, but add in the recent death of his only brother and he was spiraling quickly. He needed a fresh start to get his life back on track and found it in the unlikeliest place, Port Ranch. The same place that gave his brother a second-chance decades ago was now welcoming him with open arms. The plan was simple, get his shit together and move on from the ranch a better man. His plan neglected to take into account falling in love with Brielle Port. Brielle Port was a simple girl. Even in her 20s, she was more than happy living at home and working side-by-side with her sisters and mom. She didn't expect such a jolt in her life with Mitch Alexander took up residence at the family ranch. He was the complete opposite of her type. Built like a freight train with the mouth of a sailor. The ex-NFL football player didn't belong on a ranch at all. There was nothing about Mitch Alexander that should Brielle should have been attracted to, but I guess that didn't matter in the end.
