After the second war everything starts to go back to normal. Except for Percy, normal is never an option. Annabeth and Percy broke up. Not that Percy was particularly sad about it. After Tartarus Percy wasn't able to feel that connection with Annabeth. He was glad and relieved that they broke up. But then it's like something suddenly snaps and the whole camp turns their back on him. Minus Leo, Nico, will, Thalia, and Rachel. Nico goes to the underworld to spend time with his father for the next 3 months, Will going with his. Thalia is off with the hunters and Leo is spending the summer with Nico. 1 month of having to deal with the camps sudden change. Percy packs his things and disappears. *DISCLAMER* This is a fanfiction novel! Rick Riordan is the proud and proper owner of the Percy Jackson series. --- This story introduces a new character to the Percy Jackson series with a life that leaves both himself and others around him in question. Throughout his life he was told to do what he was told to do or endure the consequence, not even questioning how his life ended up the way it is. After years of dealing with this indescribable pain, he came to the belief that he'd die with this horrible life. Or so he thought. With what began with a terrible loss actually leads up to a life he never expected to have. He earns great reward, respect, and a bright future for completing a severe quest that depended on succession. However, like many quests this one's not going to be easy. Whether it be mythological monsters or a haunting from his past, he manages to triumph over them all thanks to a couple of familiar and new faces. Throughout his quest he finds answers to many questions to his life but one: Is this where his story ends? --- Before you begin reading there's a few more things I want to mention regarding the story. Some chapters are narrated by different characters (symbols will be provided), there are mild abusive moments, it doesn't immediately dive into arriving at Camp Half-Blood nor knowing the main character's name, and this story takes place a month after The Titans Curse (so Percy, Annabeth, and Grover won't be included in "this" story). This is my first story, so I hope y'all like it. This story is dedicated to my high school teachers (for the sake of their privacy, I won't give their names). It was thanks to them I found my passion for writing and came up with the idea to post my stories. I am forever grateful for what they've done for me, I thank them for their undying support, and I doubt I'd be doing this without them. Thank you.
