Elaine Lawrence is a fourteen year old girl forced to the countryside to escape the Blitz in London. Quiet and out of place with the Pevensie siblings, she immediately meets the scrutiny of the second boy, Edmund, who's determined to turn his family against her at any given moment. The only Pevensie who seems to not bother her as much is the youngest, though she starts to notice how she reminds her of someone she used to know. When pulled into Narnia, Elaine becomes determined not to make the same mistakes of her past and joins the Pevensies in an attempt to keep the youngest one safe, and maybe bring back the person she lost if she can. After being told they were not coming back, Peter and Sophia live on with their lives and get married back at home. A few years on, Susan starts to disbelieve her times in Narnia and slowly forgets the magic of being there. Alongside Peter and Sophia, Edmund and Lucy believed in the magic of Narnia (having gone again together more times than the others.) When Aslan told them they were not coming back, he did not mention to them of what would happen in the future - if they still believed in Narnia. What if there was another adventure that awaited for them in Narnia?
