Hikigaya Hachiman is a well-known and successful businessman. Bored from his current living conditions, lifestyle, and work he decided it was time for a change. As a result, he decided to pay his old city, Chiba, a visit. In spite of the fear of meeting his old classmates, now nothing but old acquaintances, he still did it. But after all, Hikigaya is the "Monster of logic" he wouldn't visit Chiba for merely sentimental reasons, he had other more, important and consequential motives and reasons. Little did he know so did others.
