This story takes place in a world much like our own, but one thing is noticeably different. There is a world of mystics, fantastical creatures, and supernaturals that is thinly veiled from most people. This story is about secrets, friendship, and betrayal. It follows a boy who crosses paths with a young sphinx who may not be all that she seems. It all began one day on a dark and stormy night...

This is the first story I am sharing with anybody, and I really hope to complete it. It's a first draft, and I will likely be changing many things as I go. Please feel free to give me feedback about any of it so I can become a better writer/ storyteller.

"I can say with certainty, never here," he said, lowering his other hand under the waistband of her shorts, touching the top of her underwear. "No, you've definitely never felt that before. I can hear your heart racing, I can feel your breathing, I can smell your body responding like it's never experienced these sensations before," he whispered, sliding a finger just underneath the band.
