I never thought I would be in this position. Fighting a battle I can't win, facing a future I can't control. Finally happy with the life I live while being faced with the possibility that I won't survive it. Yet here I am. Walking up the steps my head kept circling around the fact that more and more disappearances are happening who or what could possibly be doing this. I made sure to lock every window, heading back downstairs I heard a plate drop and a scream. Mom! Mom answer me! Circling into the kitchen I see my mom laid out on the floor blood gushing from her stomach. No mom I scrabbled to grab a towel and placed it hard on her wound.
