Counting Down

Izuku Midoriya has a quirk, but unlike his dreamy desires, his quirk won't allow him to become a hero. Instead, he can see someone's life span. Above everyone's head is a green number and it shows how many days they have left to live. If a number goes red, then that means that said person only has a year or less.

Izuku was bullied because of his useless quirk, and since he cannot show his quirk people begin saying he's quirkless. Katsuki Bakugo is one of the main bullies and he puts Izuku through hell.

It all changed when Izuku was ten though. His apartment building goes up in flames one night due to an unknown villan attacking a neighbor. Sadly, Inko and Izuku are caught in the crossfire and no one can save them. That night, Inko dies in her apartment and Izuku goes missing. After four years of searching, the Missing Midoriya case goes cold and Izuku is presumed dead.

Three years after the attack, a new vigilante shows up.
