[Takes Place in Book One: Water | Work 1/3]
Two refugees from the Earth Kingdom escape from the Fire Nation, a pregnant woman and her husband. Upon landing on an island, they wonder, hoping for any food source. The husband sees a glimpse of berries and rushes toward them, not noticing the covered entrance to the western air temple. He falls down a flight of stairs for non-airbenders. The wife rushes to his side. After weighing their options, the couple decide to settle in the temple. Not even a week after, the wife gives birth to their child. As to give her a hobby, her mother teaches her to dance. One line she tells her is, "Jump as if you were going to fly!" That was meant to be a regular leap, not Tsu-lyn actually flying using airbending. Multiple years later, an 11 year-old basic air-bender is dancing around, waiting for her parents to return from gathering food. She wanders to her favorite dancing platform and spots two people in red armor. One a plump man and the other with bandages wrapped around one of his eyes.

Hi! This may or may not be my first fanfiction or story that I'll try to update regularly. (Hi future me, that previous line was a lie, I update like ONCE in a blue moon and leave forever another month, I am so sorry but at least the first season is done now?)
An ATLA fanfic! Reminder that I do not own Avatar the Last Airbender or any of the characters besides Tsu-lyn, Ryoto, and other non-canonical characters.
Zuko vs. Aang x OC love triangle! Wait is it an actual love triangle? I have no clue. The oc being Tsu-lyn, whose photo is in the chapter titled her name!
All artistic depictions of Tsu-lyn are mine and made by me do not use them unless you have my explicit permission and proof of permission thanks!

Avatar: the Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC Makki is the twin sister of Sokka and the older sister of Katara. She is one of the last Southern water benders, along with her sister. At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. When Makki, Zuko, and Iroh became fugitives from the Fire Nation and refugees inside the Earth Kingdom, Makki had no choice but to help the lost prince find his way onto the right path. But in the end, Makki will find that it's tougher work than she first anticipated, though, she figures out how to connect with the prince and may even develop feelings for him. I do not own any of the artwork or story shown in this book. I only own the original character Makki and her actions in the book. [OC IN AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER] - 𝗦𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗡 FANFIC "𝙄 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙨𝙤" ---------------------✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸✸-------------------- Water, Earth, Fire, Air. Born to serve the Fire nation, that's just how it works here. But this one... he was different; He was special, born with extraordinary ability. He was born to be a great general, an idiot general. He's a fool of the highest order. A waste of potential, serving a cruel and ruthless nation like the Fire Nation. How can someone so talented be reduced to such a pathetic state? Is there an underlying reason for his foolishness, some kind of hidden reason that has led him down this path? Besides that, he often makes foolish decisions. Someone said he's simply a victim of circumstance, with no hope of escaping this fate. Is there anything that can be done to change this course, to save this gifted individual from a life of misery? Now, don't you worry. That hidden agenda in his mind is relatively benign - just trying to survive in the Fire Nation like everyone else. But instead of being guided by fear, he's just wandering about in his own little world, in a la la land, unafraid to be bold but not defined by his ego. Rather, his actions are fuelled by boredom and an insatiable curiosity that makes him seem troublesome to some.

This is an Avatar : The Last Airbender fanfic in which my OC, Madelyn Grace Langston (or Maddy) is integrated into the story without changing the plot a whole lot. This is a Zuko love story too. and I tried to make it as good as a writer like me can. This is only the first book, Water, and if it gets good views I will continue with the next two and maybe the stories after that as well. Madelyn is from the universe where ATLA is just a tv show, by just mean the only thing she seems to find any peace in, and she suddenly awakens on the deck of a certain Prince Zuko's ship and is immediately thrown into his chaotic hunt of the Avatar. After practically raising herself in her flawed home, she became independent and learned how to keep her emotions in check, but when she finds love sneaking up on her she starts to lose the side of her that craves solitude and darkness. Her phobia of fire and sudden talent for firebending create a chaotic pair as she battles both herself and her emotions in a fight that can only end one way. Disclaimers: I do NOT own anyone from this story except Madelyn and everyone from her world. The plot and everything else belongs to the creators of the ATLA series. there will be mild language throughout the story.
