Not everyone who walk together reaches the destination together. Sometimes, one is left behind. Sometimes, one has to break to complete the other. Silence is love's faithful companion. Love is nothing unless felt. It shows its presence silently, waiting patiently, lurking in the shadows of hearts. All this while, the silence as its faithful companion, holds its hand and bears every sigh, every torment, every skip of a heartbeat, every joy, and every glance with it. They complete each other and yet they don't, for love demands recognition. It requires confirmation and when the love has reached its peak, it pushes the silence down. Breaks it, steps over it, and shouts to the whole world the tale of its existence. And silence, it smiles watching the whole scene. But as it is said, silence in itself is the loudest cry. "I'll always love you too, Kayla," he said smiling at me and I placed my head on his shoulder. We sat in silence with our hearts at peace and filled with content. Can silence speak? Had someone asked me this question before I would never have been able to answer the question. But at this moment I knew the answer. Yes, silence can speak. It can talk volumes. Silence is the loudest music there is. If you listen carefully, you can hear each and every secret of the universe, every story that has ever been told from the beginning of time, every promise made to one another whispered swiftly into your ear. This silence was being the witness to the promise we made to each other. Kayla is a sweet, fun-loving girl. She has a huge crush on her friend. Aaron returns to school after two years. Her heart gets broken only to be put together again. She gave up on love only to find it again in one person she least expected from. She will find love where she least expects it from.
